Warehouse Technician

Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Technician Location: Lima, OH Duration: Contract-to-Perm Rate: $22 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Warehouse Technician to support tool room operations, material handling, and general warehouse activities in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, strong knowledge of hand tools, and the ability to manage inventory and materials efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.

• Provide daily support for tool room operations, including issuing, tracking, and organizing tools
• Pick and stage materials for job work orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and material staging
• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment as required
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control and reconciliation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant warehouse environment
• Support plant operations during turnaround periods by working overtime and flexible shifts as needed

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to identify and differentiate common hand tools
• Forklift experience preferred (training available if needed)
• Must be local to the area
• Ability to work third shift initially, then transition to first shift
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable attendance
