Shift Schedule- 1st Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- $18.25 /hr
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing of work areas.
- Collect product trash—including boxes, tape, packaging, and collateral—from product aisles.
- Inspect corrugated trash to prevent accidental disposal of product or equipment.
- Maintain the cardboard baler, including wire replacement, and keep its vicinity clean.
- Use floor scrubber as necessary.
- Empty waste receptacles and operate the trash compactor.
- Treat basic issues and refer more complex problems to higher‑level staff.
- Familiarize yourself with the whereabouts of Material Safety Data Books (MSDs) and maintain a practical understanding of the MSD data.
- Follow warehouse safety regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.
- Understanding of general and specific housekeeping procedures and materials.
- Effective communication skills to comprehend and execute work orders.
- Ability to work efficiently in busy environments with frequent public interaction.
- Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- General knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Experience in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service, or forward logistics operation.
- Experience with trash compactors and cardboard balers.
- Prior custodial experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity.
