Overview

Shape the Future of Glass Manufacturing. Step onto the production floor where precision, safety, and teamwork drive every shift. As a Glass Production Line Technician, you will operate and support production lines to deliver quality glass products while maintaining a safe workplace for yourself and others.

What You’ll Do in a Typical Night
  • Champion safety across the production area; immediately report hazards to your supervisor or the safety team.
  • Run pre- and post-process equipment by following established procedures to meet product quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep the line supplied with raw materials as needed to maintain steady production.
  • Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently (both stand-up and sit-down).
  • Conduct routine quality checks per documented procedures and respond to nonconformances.
  • Troubleshoot line issues and resolve product quality concerns.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain 5S: clean work areas, organize tools, and sustain visual order.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and assist with changeovers.
  • Demonstrate the AGC Way in all responsibilities and team interactions.
  • Take on additional duties or projects as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • NCRC Silver preferred
Skills & Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn problem-solving methods (Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D, etc.).
  • Basic Windows computer proficiency.
  • Ability to learn and apply quality standards for glass products.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Authority

You have the authority to halt or suspend operations if you identify safety or quality risks.
