Mars Wrigley- Process Machine Operator:
Floater
- Elizabethtown, PA
- Pay:
Based on experience $25.40/hour+ - This site manufactures DOVE Chocolate
- Shift: 1st (Day)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday - Hours:
6:30 am – 3:00 pm (flexible pending business needs)
Transition to a 12‑hour night or day shift schedule. Further details will be provided.
Description of RoleProcess Operator – Floater is the backup to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. Responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning‑in‑place (CIP), and continuous improvement recommendations.
Minimum Requirements- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Basic analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10–50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50–300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours.
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions.
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
- Technical degree or certification
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing
- Weever software experience
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience
- Maintenance knowledge or capabilities
- Forklift experience
- Back up to the Production Coordinator and Production lead as needed
- Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality, and drive continuous improvement
- Responsible for the efficient production of quality products
- Operate, monitor, and perform changeover and rebuilds on machinery
- Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks
- Any ad hoc requests
- Starting Pay:
Based on experience, starting at $25.40/hour+ - Annual Bonus and Merit Increases
