On the road in your own car, mobile nursing service delivery to home & community care clients across Melbourne's metropolitan area. You will see clients for assessments, wound care, clinical reviews, continence and catheter care, palliative and end‑of‑life care, dementia support, NDIS complex care management, client and carer education, immunisations, and more. Depth and breadth of experience is a must, coupled with a deeply passionate, respectful, and caring holistic approach to the Home Nursing Service environment.

• Provide mobile nursing service delivery to home & community care clients across Melbourne.
• See clients for assessments, wound care, clinical reviews, continence and catheter care, palliative and end‑of‑life care, dementia support, NDIS complex care management, client and carer education, immunisations, and more.
• Use advanced assessment, critical thinking, and digital skills to develop site‑specific plans of care.
• Document care, manage clinical escalation, and act autonomously.
• Respond to client needs, including emergency call‑outs on weekends and after hours.

• Chronic wound care, including complex and non‑healing wounds
• Male and female catheter care (IDC and SPC)
• Continence assessments and management planning
• Chronic disease monitoring and clinical oversight within the home environment
• Palliative and end‑of‑life care, supporting clients and families with dignity and compassion

• 10+ years current clinical experience as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
• Advanced critical thinking and clinical reasoning
• Confident autonomous decision‑making in dynamic environments
• Strong problem‑solving across complex client presentations
• Exemplary clinical documentation, handover notes, and escalation practices
• Ability to take quick, responsive, and appropriate clinical action
• Exceptional rapport building, communication, and client advocacy

Casual employment with minimum 3 full days per week, flexible hours, and opportunity for weekend and after‑hours call‑outs.

• Based in Melbourne suburbs; willingness to travel across Greater Melbourne
• Recent smartphone, printer/scanner, laptop/desktop with software & app literacy
• Comprehensively insured car and current unrestricted valid driver’s licence
• Excellent face‑to‑face client and carer education skills
• AHPRA registration, WWCC (Vic), National Criminal History Check (less than 3 years), Accredited BLS, First Aid, Anaphylaxis (for nurse immunisers), Manual Handling, Covid training, mandated vaccinations, NDIS worker orientation, NDIS worker screening
• Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and positive team member approach
• Occasional office visits to Diamond Creek office
• 10+ years RN experience
• Willingness for occasional after‑hours or weekend work
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
