Job Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or a Registered Professional Nurse. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients, coordinates care in conjunction with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Mercy Hospital – Perry Unit (Med Surg), Nights, Part-Time (32+ hours per pay period)

• Utilize nursing process to provide care to assigned patients
• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Prepare patient care plans and documentation

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or comparable education/experience)
• Valid LPN license in the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• LPN-IV Certification completed or within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
