Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
$10,000 Sign‑On Bonus for External Candidates, Part‑Time 7p – 7a.
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Follows the professional standards of care. Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients. Maintains ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.
Requirements- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Must obtain Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.
- Recent experience in specialty nursing preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
