The team provides patient care and supportive services directed toward achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in their own plan of care, and reducing the length of hospitalization. The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.

The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to patients and their families, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
• Experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
