American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact RN license, with no prior experience required.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department providing urgent and emergency medical care
• 13-week contract assignment
• Second shift schedule: 3x12s, 3p-3a
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with care team members
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy
• Develop and prioritize patient care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
• Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within scope of practice
• Provide patient and family education and facilitate discharge planning in coordination with Case Management
• Delegate and monitor care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, falls, pressure ulcers, and CAUTI prevention
