Seasonal Market Barn Retail Staff

Quarry Hill Orchards is a relationship-driven, family-centric, and quality-focused 130-acre fruit tree farm and retail farm market that specializes in growing, harvesting, and bringing to market boutique apples, peaches, pears, plums, cherries, and nectarines. We are located in Berlin Heights, OH (approximately 45 miles west of downtown Cleveland), and are looking to expand our staff during our busy harvest season (June - November).

• Well presented, friendly, hard working, dependable, multi-tasking individual with good customer service work experience
• Inviting and engaging interaction with customers, greeting and assisting guests, slicing and offering fruit samples, making and serving popcorn
• Flexible hours & family-friendly; must love people, dogs, kids, quality fruit, a hard days work, and a little chaos
• Focused and accurate work as a cashier, processing and receiving payments, bagging goods
• Periodic lifting of a 40-pound crate of apples is preferred; produce handling is required
• Opening, closing, and daily tasks associated with keeping the retail market clean and tidy
• Seasonal full time option of 40-50 hours per week (1 day must be a Saturday or Sunday)
• Seasonal part time option of 15-30 hours per week (1 day must be a Saturday or Sunday)
• Hourly rate to be discussed during initial phone discussion
• Mid-June through Mid-January
• Must have reliable transportation and absolutely no smoking permitted on property
