Assistant Manager

Job Description

Daily Shift Requirements:
Tuesday - Friday 10am-5pm, 2 Saturdays a month 10am-4pm
Hiring hourly rate of $17.00/hour for a minimum of 28 hours per week.

• Daily sales floor duties between the hours of 10am and 8 pm as scheduled weekly.
• Ensuring customer experience on the sales floor through superior service skills, and coaching other staff during appropriate opportunities for skill development.
• Answering and responding to instagram DMs and comments while on the floor to help customers and increase sales.
• Knowledge of bar inventory and assisting Dana when needed with inventory replenishment.
• Event management help for The Blushery hosted events. This includes planning, event execution and management onsite for the event date.
• Backup for shifts that need covering, direct report from employees calling in sick or needing last minute schedule changes on Saturdays specifically, but all shifts overall.
• Work with Social Media Manager and Management staff for new arrivals, social content, promotional ideas etc.
• Advise management team and owners of needs for the sales floor, inventory, customer requests or complaints, etc. based on daily and weekly experiences first hand.
• Directly report to Kim Chapman, general manager.
• Backup for Kim as needed, and as she sees fit. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Tagging and steaming as needed
• Communicating with staff
  
  Backup for fulfilling online website orders in entirety
• Backup for taking pictures of items
• Backup for fulfillment of shipment of pieces
• Backup for merchandising and store layout to ensure optimal sales
• Assist with marketing and promotional ideas and planning for each season
• working with Management team
• Assist with market planning, appointments, brand relationships, ordering, and organization of photos for new merchandise incoming sent by market team.
