As part of our Footwear Division, we are seeking an experienced Territory Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen distributor relationships in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. The successful candidate will expand our market presence, develop new customer opportunities, and deliver exceptional support to distributor and end-user partners.
Position SummaryReporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives within an assigned territory through the development of strategic distributor relationships, acquisition of new business opportunities, and execution of sales growth initiatives. This role requires a driven sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships while delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute an annual territory business plan focused on market share growth and customer acquisition.
- Manage and grow relationships with distributor partners, buying groups, and key end-user accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits, sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Identify and develop new distribution opportunities and strategic growth accounts.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams on joint sales calls and customer development activities.
- Promote the complete Sure Werx Footwear portfolio, including New Balance Work®, Nautilus® Safety Footwear, Avenger® Work Boots, Airwalk Work®, NEOS® Overshoes, and Mega Comfort® Insoles.
- Leverage CRM tools to maintain account activity, opportunity pipelines, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer requirements within the territory.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure exceptional customer support.
- Participate in trade shows, customer events, distributor meetings, and industry networking opportunities.
Required
- Minimum 3 years of successful B2B field sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth objectives.
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred
- Experience selling safety footwear, PPE, industrial products, safety products, workwear, or related product categories.
- Experience working with industrial distributors, safety distributors, construction distributors, or specialty retail channels.
- Knowledge of end-user sales development and distributor channel management.
- Experience conducting product training and customer demonstrations.
