Financial Relationship Banker - Ottawa, OH

Job Overview

Financial Relationship Banker – help our consumer and business customers achieve financial goals by building and growing relationships through product recommendations, technology optimization, and internal partnerships.

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities via pre‑set appointments, centers of influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow‑up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educate customers on bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintain knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, retail sales, business‑to‑business sales, or a military administration, contracting, civil affairs or similar role.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• One year or more of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, retail sales, or business‑to‑business sales.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain relationships.
• Acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, and business lending.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile and online banking services.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

Exempt Status:
No (eligible for overtime pay). Workplace:
Office – flexible work arrangements may be available.
