We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin.
Responsibilities- Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment within the healthcare facility.
- Conduct regular patrols.
- Monitor surveillance.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Facilitate conflict resolution.
- Report out-of-the-ordinary activity in and around the hospital and grounds.
- Respond to security and safety related emergencies.
- Conduct investigations and complete reports.
- Provide security escorts as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid KY driver's license with a satisfactory driving record defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy.
- Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- International Assoc for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
