Maintenance Technician - Pan American Apartments

Monroe Group Ltd. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This full‑time role offers a $500 sign‑on bonus and a $1,500 retention bonus. Pay is up to $20.00 per hour.

Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician ensures the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards within budget.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structure
• Conduct property and unit inspections
• Maintain property curb appeal and general cleanliness
• Schedule and maintain make‑ready board
• Purchase materials and manage budget
• Ensure maintenance teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents

• Previous experience in apartment/multi‑family maintenance
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge
• Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred
• Technical training and license preferred
