Winter Equipment Operator — Loader/Skid Steer

Northeast Ohio | Seasonal Winter Position
Brian-Kyles is looking for an experienced Winter Equipment Operator to join our snow operations team.
This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating loaders, skid steers, and other snow-removal equipment during winter weather events. We are looking for someone who knows their way around equipment, can work independently, and understands that snow removal means being ready to work when the weather hits.
What You'll Do- Operate skid steers, loaders, and other snow-removal equipment
- Clear snow from commercial parking lots, drives, walkways, and other properties
- Load, push, pile, and relocate snow as needed
- Assist with salting and general snow-removal operations
- Perform basic equipment inspections before and during shifts
- Communicate with supervisors and other crew members during snow events
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Help keep equipment clean, fueled, and ready for the next storm
- Previous experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment — required
- Experience with commercial snow removal preferred
- Ability to operate equipment safely in winter conditions
- Dependable and willing to work overnight, early morning, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when needed
- Ability to respond when called for a snow event
- Good communication and ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be able to work outdoors in cold, snow, and other winter conditions
- Know how to operate equipment without needing constant supervision
- Take pride in doing a clean, professional job
- Understand that snow doesn't care what time it is
- Are dependable when the weather gets bad
- Want seasonal work with a professional landscaping company
Snow removal is weather-dependent
. Hours may vary significantly based on storms and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
