Within a team environment, responsible for safely and accurately loading and unloading deliveries made and received. In addition, associates will actively participate in diagnosing and solving all team issues & concerns, hands‑on educational and safety training and any other assigned tasks as required assuring that personal, team, and company goals are being met.

• Performs all duties in a safe, efficient manner, communicates need for additional training if unsure how to perform a task safely, is aware of all equipment emergency stop buttons and observes all appropriate company safety regulation.
• Responsible for inspecting, tracking and maintaining the maintenance of the vehicle assigned as well as any product being hauled.
• Maintain legal DOT logs, paperwork and driving practices.
• Accurately count and log product delivered.
• Ability to unload product at customer site.
• Accurately keep record of products for each load and ensure product is loaded properly and complete.
• Utilizing measuring tools, to insure accurate loading heights and widths.
• Demonstrate safe and proper vehicle operation.
• Utilizing fork trucks, transports product and place onto the truck and/or trailer.
• Represent the company in a friendly and courteous manner and display excellent customer service skills.
• Interact with company and non-company personnel and customers.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of vehicle so work can be performed in safe and productive manner.
• Keep storage areas neat and organized.
• Actively participates in all team issues, training/educational opportunities, and quality & safety programs.
• Assists other personnel as required.

Performs other work‑related duties as required.

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Commercial Drivers License – Class A or B

• Related delivery experience which includes the following skills and abilities:
• Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.
• Safely operate company equipment.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Ability & willingness to understand and follow routine oral & written instructions.
• Ability to conform to company attendance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a participative/team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Previous delivery/driving experience.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Excellent work history with proven track record.

• The position has typical delivery/driver working conditions.
• Due to the nature of the product being delivered, there is a sustained intermittent exposure to outdoor elements. These include heat, cold, rain, sleet, snow, dust, & mud.
• The individual may encounter moderate emotional & physical strain or tension. There is moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs), occasional heavy lifting (over 75 lbs) and other environmental conditions.
• The individual works under little direct supervision and under stress to meet scheduled deadlines.

• This facility is a 5 day/ 24 hour operation with extensions of operating days during peak seasons.
• May require night and weekend hours.
• To be considered for an interview with our team, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, transportation, be reliable/dependable, have the ability to lift over 50 lbs, be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and the ability to pass an initial and random employment drug screens.
