The regional Truck Driver safety and efficiently completed regional deliveries with care, professionalism, and precision. The CDL A Driver is responsible for executing same-day pickup and delivery (P&D) operations within a defined geographic area, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate transportation of freight. This role requires a safety-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality, professional service. Drivers are expected to manage multiple stops per shift, maintain accurate shipment documentation, and represent DSV professionally at all customer interactions.

- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
- Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing (subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing).
- Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
- Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
- Swings and secures trailer doors.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Valid CDL A License required
- Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years (3+ years preferred)
- Minimum 1 year Medical Certificate – Minimum ICC requirements related to physical qualifications as set forth under Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 391.41, Physical Qualifications of Drivers.
- Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41)
- No positive drug or alcohol test results in the past five (5) years.
- No accident involving bodily injury within the last three (3) years.
- No DUI/DWI, Reckless Driving or Speeding Tickets 12mph or higher in the past (5) years.
- Experience in local P&D operations, multi-stop routing, and urban driving environments preferred
- Strong understanding of load securement and freight handling
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
- Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in customer-facing environments
- Experience handling high-value or sensitive freight preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a commercial vehicle and perform physical freight handling activities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
