Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate position is a regular full-time, entry level hourly position within the Operations division. Under the supervision of the Warehousing and Logistics Director, this position is responsible for facilitating the flow of raw materials from the Company warehouse as needed for daily Packaging production schedules.
Shift :
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay :
Starting at $16.50/hr actual pay will depend on experience, skills and internal equity.
- Review reports for production schedules versus raw materials on hand and expedite inventory transfers between warehouses to fulfill daily production schedule.
- Monitors inventories of raw materials and updates accordingly in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application.
- Daily communications with both immediate supervisor & Warehouse team regarding material availability and order fulfilment for daily production schedule.
- Assists with warehouse transfers by loading & unloading trucks using powered industrial trucks and in moving items from warehouse to production floor via box truck.
- Assists with conducting weekly physical inventories for the purpose of verifying materials on hand and identifying losses.
- Under the direction of management, responsible for organizing finished goods in the warehouse in an organized and secure manner.
- Clean and organize production floor and receiving staging areas by using powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks.
- Operates and drives both company box truck(s) for the purpose of moving materials between warehouses.
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment that includes general housekeeping warehouse duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or G.E.D with relevant job or work history.
- Must be self-motivated, have excellent written skills, and verbal communication
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Candidate must be able to work under stressful situations unique to the manufacturing/production environment of a fast-paced brewery.
- Applicants, without an accommodation, must have the ability to frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend, crouch, stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver raw materials around the warehouse on both carts and pallet jacks.
- Applicants must have forklift experience.
