Packaging Operator Role
Running bagging machine to ensure the correct animal feed makes it into the correct bags in a safe and quality-oriented manner. The documentation of the production process are required with general computer work. This entails checking bag weights on a regular basis to ensure compliance, ensuring bags are sealed properly, labels are correct, etc. Occasionally lift up to 50lbs 100% onsite in Elizabethtown, PA
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months prior experience in packaging type environment
- Attention to detail (exp. with picking/packing, sorting, quality checks, verifying shipments, etc.)
- Food Safety training/experience is a PLUS
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Working Conditions:
Climate controlled facility
Dress Code:
Long pants, shirt, Candidate must provide their own steel toe-shoes Gown/other PPE provided by Cargill
Shift: M-F 6a-2:30pm, (during Peak season, longer shifts may be required then possibly extra days)
ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS:
Background screen, drug screen, & physical (no lift, audiogram, or respirator)
