Experience:

** Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).

** Alarm Panel

Experience:

** Familiarity with alarm panel systems is necessary (B202).

** Technology Proficiency:
** Candidates must be comfortable using computers or tablets for daily tasks (B204).

** Customer Service

Experience:

** A background in customer service is essential for all positions (B219).

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, residence hall exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related hazards, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.

+ Document incidents, patrol activities, and shift-related information accurately and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
