Plumber – Commercial and Industrial Install Projects
This role focuses on installing plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects in and around Lancaster County. You will work on new construction sites, including apartment buildings, assisting with the installation of commercial plumbing piping from initial groundwork through final finishes. The position involves hands-on work with various piping materials and tools in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Responsibilities- Install and assist with the installation of commercial plumbing piping on new construction projects, including apartment buildings.
- Work with PVC, CPVC, and PEX piping to build complete plumbing systems from groundwork through finishing stages.
- Interpret and understand layouts, drawings, and plumbing plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Complete plumbing projects from start to finish, including underground, rough-in, and finish work.
- Operate standard plumbing and construction tools safely and effectively in a commercial environment.
- Collaborate with other trades and construction team members to keep projects on schedule.
- Lift, carry, and position materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor conditions on active construction sites while following safety procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Hands-on experience with commercial plumbing installations on new construction projects.
- Proficiency working with PVC, CPVC, and PEX piping.
- Ability to understand and interpret layouts, drawings, and plumbing schematics.
- Experience completing plumbing projects from start to finish, including groundwork and finishing.
- Commercial construction experience in a field or jobsite setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly as part of the job.
- Competence using standard plumbing and construction tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic plumbing installation issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing and construction work on commercial sites.
- Experience working on apartment building projects or similar multi-unit facilities.
- Ability to work effectively on a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and code-compliant installations.

JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
