LPN - Full Time Night Shift
Horizon Health is seeking a full time LPN to join our team at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK. Under the supervision and/or direction of the Staff Nurse or Charge Nurse, the psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care consistent with the treatment plan. Additionally, he/she is responsible for concise documentation for an assigned group of patients.
Responsibilities include restoring and promoting patient's health by completing the nursing process, observing patients and reporting/recording their medical and physical condition appropriately, attending to patient personal needs, assisting with ambulating and lifting patients, obtaining patient vital signs, assisting in safely placing patients in seclusion or restraints, observing suicide/seclusion precautions, assisting Medical Director and registered nurses, administering medications and/or injections, following voluntary and involuntary procedure/process, interpreting the nursing and treatment needs of the patient to nonclinical staff, ensuring patient dignity and respect, maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality, and operating within ethical standards.

Qualifications:
State LPN license required, 1 year of experience as an LPN required, experience in a behavioral health setting preferred. EEO Statement:
