As an AP/AR Specialist
, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working with vendors, customers, internal teams, and multiple financial accounts. You'll manage everything from invoice processing and customer payments to daily vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. Because the company operates in an international logistics environment, you'll be part of a dynamic operation where priorities can move quickly and accuracy matters.

• Process accounts payable invoices, including verification, coding, reconciliation, and payment preparation
• Manage daily vendor payments through ACH, checks, wires, and third-party payment platforms
• Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
• Maintain accurate records of AP and AR transactions and supporting documentation
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts and ensure vendor payments are accurately posted
• Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• Work with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve billing and payment questions
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare AP/AR reports and provide accurate financial information to management
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as needed

• 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally with both AP and AR
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and internship experience will be considered
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers, reconciliations, and financial records
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities
