This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cutting-edge products, working closely with a team of skilled engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engineering Initiatives: Oversee and mentor a small team of Mechanical Engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Embedded Hardware & PCB Development: Spearhead the design and development of embedded hardware and printed circuit boards for new product launches.
- Project Management: Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and ensure deadlines are consistently met across multiple initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion process optimization and root cause analysis to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, operations, and external partners to translate market needs into technical solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams and customers, ensuring satisfaction and confidence in the company’s solutions.
- Reporting: Communicate project status, risks, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Significant hands-on experience with embedded hardware, PCB design, and control panels—especially in assembly or industrial automation environments.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop engineering teams.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with CAD, electrical simulation tools, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems. - Product Development: Track record of driving new product development and improving existing designs.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
Compensation Range: $130,000 - $150,000
Benefits Offered: 3 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
