Job Description:

Are you ready to advance your HR career, support a diverse workforce, and play a key role across multiple facilities? We are seeking a proactive, bilingual Human Resources Manager (English/Spanish) to deliver hands‑on support, drive consistency, and coach leaders in a dynamic, multi‑state manufacturing and distribution environment.

Location:
Elk Grove Village, IL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

What You’ll Lead & Achieve:
  • Act as the HR lead for several manufacturing/distribution sites, overseeing ~600 employees
  • Guide managers and frontline leaders on performance, employee engagement, and development
  • Address sensitive employee relations, investigations, union/nonunion workforce challenges
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and HR communications with consistency and integrity
  • Implement corporate HR programs and tailor them to local business needs
  • Support workforce morale, retention, and growth across distributed teams
  • Supervise HR staff and provide frontline leadership for growing sites
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Who You Are:
  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years’ HR management experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory)
  • Advanced communicator, confident coaching and influencing leaders
  • Familiar with employment law, labor relations, HRIS systems (Dayforce or similar)
  • Ready to travel (up to 25%) for site visits—strong presence at all supported locations
  • Union HR experience is advantageous
