Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $28 - $29 /hr. on W2

Shift: M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Perform Rack & Stack and cabling between cabinets on servers and network assets in a data center.
• Install, test, label, and dress fiber and copper cabling.
• Terminate copper cables.
• Reboot devices and have general familiarity with server operations.
• Use a Fluke cable tester (highly preferred).
• Work physically on ladders up to 12 feet high, routing cables in overhead trays.
• Lift and install devices weighing over 50 lbs. using a server lift and team efforts.
• Communicate effectively and professionally during troubleshooting calls or client interactions.
• Work independently and in a team within a fast-paced data center environment.

Experience & Education

• At least 2+ years of experience working in a data center (leadership experience may not be suitable).
• High School Diploma.

Skills & Certifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Teachability and a positive attitude are highly valued.

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications or outside accreditations.
• Experience with DCIM software.
• Experience with Fluke cable testers.
• Relevant tenure and hands-on experience.

Interview Process: One virtual round, with a second round if needed.
