Production Associate

Overview

The Fabrication Associate is located in Elk Grove, IL, and focuses on the custom fabrication of aluminum doors, storefronts, and curtain walls by utilizing fabrication packets, architectural drawings, cutting aluminum, drilling and punching holes, and installing hardware. This position reports to the Fabrication Lead.

• Fabricate aluminum doors, storefront, and curtain wall by utilizing fabrication packets
• Read architectural drawings and schematics
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Safely perform quality tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate appropriately, complete paperwork, interpret basic mathematical measurements, and use a tape measure
• Notify lead or supervisor of any mechanical material issues

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work overtime if needed
• High mechanical aptitude
• Stand and walk on concrete floor for eight hours or more
• Wear company issued safety shirt, hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses and hearing protection
• Computer experience preferred
