• Operate a Litho Press, In‑line double web press, Harris M10, and a mini‑web 6‑color web printing press to print quality production, maintain quality of product, lead and direct press crew, maintain press, and work on other operation duties as directed by supervisors.
• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a gravure press or multi‑color offset press to print single‑color, two‑color, and/or multi‑color work including large solids, screen tints, line and halftones with critical color values and registration requirements ranging from hairline to critical.
• Review job specifications to determine the press setup according to the imposition of the run (sheet‑wise or work‑and‑turn).
• Perform all make‑ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, checking correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register, etc.
• Makes necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required.
• Perform periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
• Act as a leader in providing and promoting a safe and injury‑free work environment.
• Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the press and press crew.
• Responsible for over all quality of the printed product including color reproduction, product specifications, imaging quality and postal specifications.
• Determine when product is suitable for saving.
• Responsible for producing a sample‑quality product.
• Monitor other crew members’ progress while performing responsibilities.
• Provide accurate documentation of time, materials, impressions, waste, and run speeds.
• Communicate information effectively with other crews and departments, scheduling, prepress, maintenance.
• Coordinate make‑ready process by reviewing job information, establishing make‑ready plan, and assigning responsibilities to crew members.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for the press and use the “Request For Action” system to notify maintenance department of equipment issues.
• Share expertise and help train other employees as assigned.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Must be able to work 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shift, 3 days on/4 days off, rotating every 8 weeks.

$3.00 Shift Premium offered.

Plus $2000 sign‑on bonus (distribution of payments made monthly based on performance review).

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $30.90 to $44.60 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and stand‑by pay.
