Secondary Operations Production Operator B - 2nd shift M-F

Overview

Secondary Operations Production Operator B - 2nd shift - 1pm-9:30pm - M-F at Klein Tools. This role supports Forging Cell production and performs necessary functions in Secondary Operations work centers as assigned.

• Perform material handling duties, as required.
• Operate all secondary operations equipment, including the Annealing Furnaces and Blast Cleaning equipment.
• Visually inspect assigned equipment prior to start-up and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Meet and maintain productivity standards.
• Work as a backup Impacter Helper performing trimming operations.
• Collaborate with Automated Forging Hammer and Impacter Operators to help set up cells within changeover time standards.
• Assist in training back-up personnel.
• Handle nonconforming product rework and disposition as needed.
• Handle raw material and Work in Process / Finished Goods inventory material handling; operate hot forming, Manual and Grabener Coining operations.
• Operate forklift and crane as required.
• Make and exercise decisions as required in the performance of the job.

• Prior manufacturing work experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to operate a crane and forklift.

This role has an hourly salary range of $22.66 - $28/hr eligible for competitive benefits as part of Klein Tools total rewards package. Actual compensation influenced by skills, experience, and location.
