Job Overview – Shipping & Receiving Attendant II – Split ShiftWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to take on a key role in performing complex shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities for aerospace, defense, and precision manufacturing products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ERP systems and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring proper documentation, packaging, and on-time delivery in full compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. This is a split shift with the ideal hours being 11 am to 8:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Move required materials to work centers
- Retrieve and store fixtures
- Empty scrap hoppers
- Daily duties as they apply to housekeeping and/or 5S
- Load vans and flatbed
- Prepare and package shipments per customer specifications
- Generate bills of lading
- Schedule pickups and manage freight arrangements to meet customer deadlines
- Unload vans and flatbeds
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
- Process receipts in ERP system, tagging materials and routing to appropriate storage or production areas
- Coordinate with Quality Control for receiving inspection and documentation
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/MRP systems (Made2
Manage) - Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and root cause investigations for variances
- Stage and issue materials to production per work orders and priority schedules
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- At least two years of previous ERP and/or WMS experience with full shipping and receiving duties
- Previous material handling experience required; forklift certification required or ability to be certified
- Ability to read/write English
- Willingness to work overtime as needed for coverage or surges in work
- Reliability is critical for this role; this role requires consistent attendance
