Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Location:
Elk Grove Village, IL. Compensation: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour. Status:
Long-term contract position. Prerequisites:
Submission of a resume, successful interview, background screening, and valid U.S. work authorization.
We are looking for a focused and dependable individual to join our production department as a Final Assembler. Reporting to Manufacturing Supervisors and Group Leads, you will play a key role in building products, adhering to established procedures, and contributing to our production targets while upholding high standards for safety and quality.
Core Responsibilities- Construct products by strictly following established work orders.
- Collect and organize all parts needed for specific assembly tasks.
- Gather required components from the production floor as needed.
- Input production metrics into the Tango system using a scanner or keyboard.
- Perform visual checks on parts to ensure they are defect-free throughout the assembly process.
- Execute assembly tasks for various products by strictly following both verbal and written guidance.
- Utilize manual assembly methods to finalize the production of goods.
- Handle manual and power tools, such as wrenches and air-powered screwdrivers, to complete tasks efficiently.
- Verify the alignment and fit of components to ensure the final product functions correctly.
- Perform necessary adjustments to help the team meet our operational and quality benchmarks.
- Keep your workstation tidy and orderly to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
- Prior background in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.
- Capacity to interpret and execute complex work instructions.
- Skilled in the operation of both manual and power-assisted hand tools.
- Physical stamina to remain standing for up to 95% of your shift, helping to ensure consistent production flow.
- Physical capability to lift and move items weighing between 30 and 50 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively both on your own and in collaboration with your teammates.
