Role: Registered Nurse in Oncology Unit with night shifts, providing patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring safety, timeliness, and appropriateness of interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
