OverviewOakton Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that welcomes emergency treatment cases and pet patients needing routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), meeting the highest standards of veterinary excellence.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program offers 1st-4th year veterinary students hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare them for practice. Externships typically last 2 weeks, with lodging covered if needed. The program length is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications- Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
