Our client is in growth mode and seeking skilled Quality Control Inspectors for their Elk Grove Village.

Position SummaryThe Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure all parts meet customer specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. This hands‑on role involves precision measurement, documentation, and collaboration with production teams to maintain high‑quality output and efficient turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections using tight‑tolerance measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, etc.).
- Review engineering drawings, purchase orders, and customer specifications.
- Complete documentation including inspection logs, routing packages, and job techniques.
- Utilize mathematical skills and tolerance analysis to evaluate dimensional changes.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, quality procedures, and industry standards.
- Recommend quality improvements and support continuous process initiatives.
- Assist QC/QA personnel and participate in ongoing training.
- Reports directly to the Lead Quality Control Inspector and collaborates with production, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to perform high‑accuracy measurements (+/- .00005 – .0002).
- Skilled in calibration/verification of measurement tools.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.
- Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of plating, anodizing, etching, or Nadcap processes preferred.
- High school diploma required; technical/college education preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of dimensional inspection experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or similar.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of QA sampling plans preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
