NuWay Electronics is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Quality Lead to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring product excellence and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
- Perform internal audits and support external audits to ensure regulatory and customer compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts
- Review and approve inspection plans, control plans, and process documentation
- Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a technical field
- 2+ years of experience in a quality role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and control plans
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems; ISO 9001:2026 a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Quality Auditor Certification required, Six Sigma Certification a plus
- Flexible Hours between 6:30AM - 4:30PM
- Part Time or Full Time
