Food Service Worker

Hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location:

Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital, 935 Beisner Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

Schedule:

Full time (6:30 am – 3:00 pm or 11:00 am – 7:30 pm); days may vary.

Pay: $17.00 per hour. No previous experience required; willing to train.

Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
