PMI Kyoto is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. The technician will be based out of our Elk Grove, IL office and will be responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment. The ideal candidate is prompt, reliable, possesses excellent support skills and communication, and has a proven track record of client satisfaction and motivation to provide superior service.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Provide remote and hands-on assistance with installations, training, repairs, warranty work, retrofits, safety improvements, and equipment transfers.
- Travel to customer sites as needed domestically and internationally.
- Support PMI Kyoto assembly, start-up, and FAT efforts at the factory, gaining machine-specific expertise and training.
- Provide detailed call and service reports, and suggest opportunities for selling PMI Kyoto products, spares, or new equipment to existing customers.
- Develop knowledge of PMI Kyoto equipment, support equipment, site safety requirements, electrical, mechanical, and programming skills.
- Knowledge of the packaging/manufacturing industry.
