Direct Support Professional DSP Backup

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team as backup staff in Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova. This position is ideal for individuals with open availability who are flexible and ready to step in to support clients as needed.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in their homes and community settings. Our goal is to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for the individuals we serve.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and community support
• Support clients with behavioral and emotional needs
• Assist with light housekeeping and organization
• Accompany clients to appointments and community outings
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

• Open availability (including weekends, evenings, and/or short-notice coverage) preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Live Scan background clearance
• TB clearance
• Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or related field preferred but not required
