Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, ENT (Elk Grove, CA)

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a part‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Otolaryngology (ENT) team in Elk Grove, CA. This position is supplemental as needed (non‑benefited).

Key Responsibilities
  • Join a supportive team of experienced ENT physicians and APCs in a clinic‑focused role in Elk Grove, CA.
  • Mentorship and collaboration from ENT providers.
  • Opportunity to perform a variety of procedures in clinic.
  • See new patients and consultations.
  • Manage pre‑operative and post‑operative visits.
  • Evaluate and manage common, chronic, and acute ENT conditions.
  • Improve patient flow and reduce delays for subspecialized ENT services.
  • Work collaboratively with ENT physicians, nurses, and care teams.
  • No call responsibilities are required for this role.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program with appropriate national certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
  • California licensure eligibility and clearances; NP/PA licensure required.
  • 1+ year of prior experience in ENT, Allergy, or Audiology is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment including patient/family interactions.
