Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, ENT (Elk Grove, CA)
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a part‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Otolaryngology (ENT) team in Elk Grove, CA. This position is supplemental as needed (non‑benefited).
Key Responsibilities- Join a supportive team of experienced ENT physicians and APCs in a clinic‑focused role in Elk Grove, CA.
- Mentorship and collaboration from ENT providers.
- Opportunity to perform a variety of procedures in clinic.
- See new patients and consultations.
- Manage pre‑operative and post‑operative visits.
- Evaluate and manage common, chronic, and acute ENT conditions.
- Improve patient flow and reduce delays for subspecialized ENT services.
- Work collaboratively with ENT physicians, nurses, and care teams.
- No call responsibilities are required for this role.
- Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program with appropriate national certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
- California licensure eligibility and clearances; NP/PA licensure required.
- 1+ year of prior experience in ENT, Allergy, or Audiology is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment including patient/family interactions.
