Healthcare Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist, RN Nurse, Director of Nursing
Welbe Health PACE helps seniors stay in their homes and communities by providing comprehensive medical care and community-based services.
Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Director (CND), the Clinical Nurse Manager organizes and directs the day‑to‑day operations within the clinic, oversees clinic staff, and carefully coordinates clinic workflows to ensure effective service delivery. The Clinical Nurse Manager is well‑versed in people development, management, and RN‑level nursing care.
This role is different because Clinical Nurse Managers at Welbe Health:
- Work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule – no weekends, no nights, and no on‑call, along with far less burnout compared to hospital management roles
- Work with purpose and have the opportunity to observe participant outcomes over time, rather than traditional roles that treat episodes
We care about our team members. That’s why we offer:
- Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
- Work/life balance – 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
- 401K savings + match
- Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
- Additional benefits
On the day‑to‑day, you will:
- Operate a high‑performing, well‑equipped, and safe clinic, ensuring workflow efficiency, clarity, and protocols
- Hire, retain, coach, develop and supervise RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members, ensuring they are engaged and healthy
- Analyze data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities; conduct root‑cause analyses, evaluate care delivery processes, and make recommendations to the CND on strategies, workflows, and policies to continuously improve operations
- Ensure nursing and clinic staff accurately deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans, including promptly responding to physician orders, completing assessments, and actively participating in care planning
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of coordination and services in collaboration with Medical Practice leadership, Providers, Case Managers, and other interdisciplinary team disciplines
- Serve as audit lead for clinical and nursing elements during CMS/DHCS audit review, in collaboration with the CND and Quality Improvement Director
- Develop and monitor corrective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance
Job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a relevant healthcare field preferred; professional experience may be substituted
- Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nursing leadership experience in a high‑volume, outpatient setting may be substituted
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred
We are seeking Clinical Nurse Managers that ideally have outpatient/clinical experience. If you’re ready to join a holistic care team that values both its participants and providers, we’d love to hear from you.
Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. Welbe Health offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
