• Assists in directing and scheduling the activities of all sales employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
• Ensures that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining a prospect tracking and follow-up system including confirming appointments
• Desks deals when sales manager is not on duty.
• Assist with factory orders when asked, placing orders for salespeople, amending and helping the sales manager place order calls.
• Ensures the dealership and car display are kept clean, neat and tidy and that cars are displayed properly morning and evening depending on shift worked.
• Helps salespeople close deals when necessary.
• Communicates with new-vehicle and used-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
• Conducts sales training meetings as directed by the sales manager.
• Assists the sales manager in development of improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
• Ensures salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
• Finances and prepares and executes F&I paperwork when Finance Manager is not on duty.
• Follows up with CIT document and works with banks on getting deals bought and funded.
