On-Site Fleet Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

All Star Rents is a family owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and is operated by the 3rd generation of family members today. Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Join our team! All Star Rents is looking for an On-Site Fleet Mechanic. Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, this position is critical to our success as you will use your advanced mechanical skills and knowledge to repair and service our construction and landscaping equipment.

This is a non-exempt (hourly) full-time position. Shifts are Monday-Friday and regularly end by 5:00pm.

• Prioritizing and facilitating repairs
• Servicing equipment or vehicles and completing quality control inspections
• Ordering parts
• Maintaining vendor and customer relationships
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Attending and assisting with training as applicable
• Keeping safety top priority
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents

Bootcamp training- 90-day hands on training program includes everything you need to know about service our equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.

• 18 years or older
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record – Class A license a plus!
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Be able to lift 50lbs unaided
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience required- servicing equipment or vehicles and completing inspection and repairs.
• Advance Tool Set- necessary to complete repairs.
• Computer Literacy
  - Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
• Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction and aerial equipment
  - Certifications a plus!
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal
  - Bilingual a plus!
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace
• Satisfactory Background check
• Pass 4panel drug screening
