Warehouse Team Lead – Elk Grove, California
Permanent Full Time – Immediate opening.
Position DetailsHourly Pay: $24.00 per hour.
Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift.
Schedule:
Second Shift Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 1 year of powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- At least 1 year previous team lead experience (preferred)
- At least 1 year Microsoft Office expertise (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) (preferred)
- At least 1 year prior warehouse experience (preferred)
- Knowledge/experience with an RF scanner (advanced required)
- Valid forklift operator's license (certified)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent organizational skills

- Bilingual (for Québec locations only)
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
- Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
- Inspire and guide team members toward improved key performance indicators (KPIs) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
- Assist in providing appropriate orientation for employees and giving them necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.
- Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
- Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
