JOB SUMMARY:
The Learning and Achievement Coordinator provides strategic leadership for K-12 instructional programming and system-wide initiatives. This role ensures all educational functions align with the district's mission, core values, and strategic commitments. Through data-driven continuous improvement and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, the Coordinator fosters a culture of excellence and delivers research-based instruction designed to empower every learner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the planning, development, and evaluation of educational programming to ensure high-quality instructional delivery for all students.
Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:
* Strategic Alignment:
Align departmental functions and initiatives with the district's mission, vision, and core values.
* Initiative Leadership:
Represent the district in local and state task forces and committees; attend advanced training to lead department-wide strategies.
* Continuous Improvement:
Plan and execute evaluation processes for K-12 instructional programming to ensure the use of evidence-based practices.
* Cross-Functional Alignment:
Ensure instructional consistency and alignment between Multi-Lingual, Special Education, and Tier 1 core instruction.
* Building-Level Support:
Serve as primary resource for principals and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to support instructional initiatives.
* Intervention Design:
Apply expertise to design and implement a robust continuum of academic interventions across Tiers I, II, and III.
* Data Literacy:
Train and support instructional staff in using student-level data to differentiate instruction and improve learner outcomes; supports district and building leaders, instructional staff members, and assistants with the use of data to inform instructional practices.
* Program Evaluation:
Analyze data at the district, building and student level to identify areas of strength and growth opportunities to guide professional learning planning, resource development, and implementation support.
* MTSS Integration:
Support and refine the MTSS framework to provide a seamless continuum of services for all learners.
* Data-Driven Decision Making:
Collect and analyze system, building, and grade-level data to guide instructional decisions and monitor program effectiveness.
* Oversight Areas:
Provide leadership for Targeted Services, Title I, ADSIS, Literacy (READ Act), AP Coordination, and Acceleration Plans and other areas as assigned.
* Targeted Services Programming:
Coordinate and lead Summer and School Year Targeted Service Programming K-8.
* Other duties as assigned
* Evaluate and align instructional resources and curriculum to meet state standards and compliance mandates.
Tasks involved in fulfilling above duty/responsibility:
* Standards Alignment:
Lead district-level curriculum reviews to ensure all content areas meet or exceed Minnesota State Academic Standards.
* Compliance Management:
Develop and maintain literacy plans, including READ ACT implementation, that adhere to local, state, and federal compliance requirements.
* Program Coordination:
Oversee Title I and ADSIS programming to ensure fiscal and instructional compliance.
* Resource Advocacy:
Evaluate core programs, intervention tools, and educational technology to ensure they reflect best practices and state standards.
* Plan, design, and facilitate professional development for staff and instructional leaders
