Advisor/Director

The Advisor/Director provides leadership and expertise regarding the rules, strategies, and techniques for the assigned activity, utilizing knowledge of the specific activity and safety to prepare participants mentally and physically to compete at the highest level. The tasks include, but are not limited to, preparing successful practice/rehearsals and game/performance plans, providing leadership and guidance to staff, encouraging student participation and establishing rapport, motivating participants/athletes to achieve maximum potential, maintaining equipment and uniforms, supervising all areas of participation including but not limited to gyms, fields, arenas, theater, locker or dressing rooms, buses, etc.,

working collaboratively with staff, Activities Director, families and community resources, maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL, complying with and supporting all school district regulations and policies, and developing a program specific handbook.
