Job Duties

Blaze is currently hiring for a Personal Banker at our Elk River branch. As a Personal Banker, you are the frontline of Blaze and a trusted financial guide for Members. You’ll engage directly with members to understand their goals, identify their financial needs, and confidently recommend tailored products and services that empower their financial journey. You’ll be part of a dynamic, experienced team committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

Your role is vital—not only in supporting our members’ success but also in driving Blaze’s growth and mission forward.

Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for $5,000 paid over two years, while candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for $5,500 paid over two years.

• Educate members on how to optimize Blaze's services to meet their individual needs
• Perform duties and responsibilities with regard to opening and processing changes on the following account types:
  Savings, Checking, Certificate, Retirement, Legal and Business Accounts
• Oversee consumer loan process following approved guidelines
• Create meaningful relationships via excellent service and face to face interaction
• Support your team by taking initiative to meet Blaze's growth objectives

This position will be FT 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. (Saturday paid 1.5x for hours worked).

Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the organization.

Minimum High School Degree Or GED (required)

• You are passionate about helping others, member centric, and goal driven
• You have an understanding of account opening, lending, and other financial products
• You are comfortable having conversations and making recommendations
• You seek new ways to serve others in your community, are innovative, and thrive on challenges
• You work well with others, even when things don’t go as planned
• You enjoy a fast-paced environment and can multi-task
• You have a minimum High School degree or GED (required)
• You have a minimum of two years’ experience working in financial services, which includes opening new accounts, lending, and pipeline management
• You are eligible to obtain a NMLS r within 30 days of hire
• Proven experience as a personal banker or equivalent; experience in sales and customer service is a plus
