This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Manager at Alliance Machine, located in Elk River, MN. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and supply management. Primary responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of materials, optimizing inventory processes, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, and analyzing data to improve operational efficiency.
This role requires collaboration with multiple departments to align supply chain strategies with company objectives.
- Demand Planning and Analytical Skills to effectively forecast and analyze inventory and supply needs
- Expertise in Supply Management, including vendor negotiation and establishing long-term supplier relationships
- Inventory Management skills to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Knowledge of Procurement processes, including sourcing materials and managing purchasing activities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in supply chain management platforms and relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a relevant field (Preferred)
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries is a plus
