Facilities Technician - Field Maintenance & Systems Expert

What you will do(including but not limited to):

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment

Perform preventative maintenance and facilities improvements

Basic repairs and maintenance of facilities systems including pipes, pumps, lights, HVAC, minor plumbing needs, minor electrical needs, and minor structural repairs

Facility cleaning and ensuring overall facility cleanliness– sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, vacuuming, etc. Adhering to strict sanitation practices throughout the facility

Submit and manage facilities maintenance tickets in computer system

What you've accomplished:

Skilled in the use of power tools and common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches

Ability to perform equipment and machine maintenance

Knowledge of basic computer and office equipment operations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines,whilemaintaininga positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability tomaintainfocus and attention to detail.

Must be over 21 years of age.

Physical Demands

Must be able to spend extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs for a distance of 100ft.

Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.

Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms,handsand fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.

The job is performed indoors and outdoors. Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold environments for extended periods of time with exposure to dust, allergens, and water. Appropriate PPE will be provided. Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling,stooping and bending. Twisting in tight areas may also berequiredat times.
