Public Works Manager - Otsego

The City of Otsego is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Manager. General Statement of Duties:
Performs supervisory, management, and administrative work in the Public Works Department including the facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, street maintenance, and storm water divisions; prioritizes, plans, and directs the department's operations and staff; coordinates with City Engineer on projects and various aspects of divisions maintenance; performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or comparable certification in field related to infrastructure construction, business administration, engineering, or project management
• Five years of professional experience in public sector public works including streets and infrastructure maintenance at a management level
• Five years of supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• American Public Works Association (APWA) Certification
• Experience working for a growing city or county
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license
